Shamed footballer Adam Johnson has just two weeks of freedom before he faces jail, it has emerged.
He’s due to return to Bradford Crown Court on March 24 to be sentenced for two counts of sexual activity with a girl of 15, and grooming.
Judge Jonathan Rose warned the sacked Sunderland winger that he faced a minimum of five years. But he added the tariff covering the offences meant he could be imprisoned for up to ten years.
The ex England star is likely to be taken from Bradford to Armley jail in Leeds for his first night as he is assessed.
But experts believe he will then be moved to Frankland prison , Durham, to serve the remainder of his sentence alongside notorious killers Ian Huntley and Levi Bellfield.
