According to reports ITV bosses have given the X Factor’s stars – the judges and presenters – two weeks to turn it around and save it.Caroline Flack – who has taken over from Dermot O’Leary alongside Olly Murs – is doing her bit by heading for a seven day detox, trying to ensure she looks her best for when the show goes live and really goes head to head with Strictly Come Dancing.
New judge Nick Grimshaw has freshened up his look by toning down his big hair and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is reportedly planning on picking some seriously sexy frocks. A source told the Daily Star: “Strictly has so far trounced The X Factor in the war for viewers. While it’s off air for a two week break, bosses know this is their chance to boost popularity for X Factor.
“So they’ve keen to ensure all eyes are on the X Factor when Strictly returns. It’s a total image haul, they all want to impress.” Over the last few weeks there have been a number of reports that Cowell is planning on brining Louis Walsh back to help out and there’s even been the suggestion that Louis Tomlinson could be coming on board to help.
