A former Britain’s Got Talent finalist will appear in court today to face child neglect charges.
Leeroy Bailey, 36, competed on the hit talent show with dance troupe Kombat Breakers in 2007, losing in the final to Paul Potts.
Bailey is due in court today for a trial over child neglect allegations, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
It is alleged that the dance teacher neglected a child “in a manner likely to cause suffering or injury to health” in February last year.
The 35-year-old originally denied the charge at Coventry Magistrates Court in May 2016 and elected to have the case heard by a jury at crown court.
The trial will take place at Warwick Crown Court.
Bailey remains on bail with one condition that he has to be supervised if he comes into contact with anyone under the age of 18.
This includes any dance classes that Bailey – who has worked as a dance teacher, actor and model – may teach.
