Police are locked in a stand-off with a gun-wielding pensioner who is battling cancer.
Cops have surrounded a house in Pagham, West Sussex.
The 72-year-old, named locally as Terry Bridger, is said to be armed and using a megaphone to warn gun cops he will harm himself if they approached.
Sussex Police, who have cordoned off the property and closed the road, said negotiators are continuing to make contact with the man.
The siege was sparked after police raced to the OAP’s home to reports he was using threatening behaviour and was armed.
A woman, believed to be his wife Dawn, fled the house without being harmed.
